I also installed a neat widget located in the top right colum. It is a slideshow of some of the photos from our trip. We had a great time. Rented an RV, stopped by Grandpa's house, meandered throught the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, then headed to the Grand Canyon. The kids had a blast. They especially liked working on their Junior Ranger badges. Aidan earned a special patch by making the 22 mile roundtrip hike with Damian to Phantom Ranch, at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. They had overnight accomadations down there and started their hike back out at 5:30am. Aidan was a trooper and it is a trip that he will never forget.
Hiking down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was something that Damian had always wanted to do. Damian and I tried to hike down back in 1996, but they had given out all the back country permits by the time they got to us. Someday, I would like to hike down as well. But that would involve getting back into shape! ;-)
